Session 01: Creating with ICT - Images
E-portfolio Activity
Create a folder of six
images that can be used for teaching any topic at school (One of each showing
Medium shot, full shot and closeup shot, top view, side view, front view). For example,
when you want to show precipitate in a test tube, a closeup shot in the front
view to be taken. When you have to show the whole apparatus, full shot in the
front view to be taken. Upload the images library file on any online storage
space (Eg: Google Drive). Submit the link of the folder.
Session 02: Creating with ICT - Handling Media (Audio and Video)

Create a video file to
communicate on any one of the themes and submit the file:

Journey experience of the participants to the venue (Recording).
·
Venue and its surroundings with explanation
·
Any poem in any regional language
·
Explanation of a concept in your subject

Conversation between two persons

Various activities that are happening inside the venue
·
Mono act / drama/ singing/ dancing/ storytelling or any such
expression

Session 04 : Creating with ICT - handling data

Attempt the questions
given in Handout 12 by reading the data given corresponding to it and making
meaning out of it. Answer the questions in the same sheet and submit the sheet
on Google Drive.
Session 05: Bringing together hardware and software

Imagine you are asked

its use for teachers. Create a video to show the website features.

Search for web
pages (at least 3 each) on any two topics given below. Bookmark the pages with
proper folder structure. Create a bibliography of links in a word processor,
along with the screenshot of the bookmark structure.

Search five images
(one image per specification listed below) related to any topic of your choice
from different search engines/image repositories (including at least one from
NROER). Save them with an appropriate name reflecting the criteria in a folder
on the drive and share the link of the folder as submission. Also, prepare a
document showing details of images as follows :

Session 09: Communication through Email

Create a contact list of
your friends. Now, compose a mail sharing about yourself/ experience in the
workshop/ learning from this workshop etc and send it to all (at least 3)
participants with Cc to your close friend and Bcc to mentor. Submit proof to
show that you have completed this activity.
Session 10: Exploring Web resources-II (Documents and Multimedia)
E-portfolio Activities
Create a resource library (at
least 10 resources) on Mahatma Gandhi by collecting any audio speech of Mahatma
Gandhi, video speech of Mahatma Gandhi recorded in Kingsley Hall – London,
Biography document, Rare photographs of Gandhiji, etc. Create and Save the file
in your google drive and submit the link of the folder.
Session 11 : Working with data -Exploring spreadsheet I

Using the class data
given in Handout 19, do the following and submit the spreadsheet
·
Create a folder with the
name 'class data'.
·
Create a new file in
that folder with your class name (example VI A, VII C).
·
Copy the dataset from
Handout and save it in 'sheet 1' of a new file. Rename ‘sheet 1’ as
'Name".
·
Duplicate the sheet
‘Name’, sort the data in ascending order based on the name of the student. Then
group the data based on gender. Rename and save the data sheet as ‘Gender’.
·
Find the name of the
students who have a minimum and the maximum number of siblings and find the
total number of siblings (In Sheet 1).
·
Find the percentage of
male students and find the average shoe size of female students (In the sheet
'Gender').
Create and save the file
in your google drive and submit the link of the folder.
Session 12 : Working with data - Exploring spreadsheet II

Submit any ONE
chart/graph given in the following activities and customise them to make it
visually appealing (instructors can create data sets on their own for giving
similar activities or data can also be taken from https://data.gov.in/ website)

Collect data on the
population of India for the last 10 years through internet and plot a bar chart
·
Collect the temperature
of your place for ten days through the internet, organise in a spreadsheet and
plot a line diagram based on the data
·
Using the data given in
Handout 14, plot the possible graphs and discuss your inferences.
·
Collect data on various
kinds of trees in and around your school and plot the data in an appropriate
graph and make your inferences
·
Collect data on the type
of books in the library and present it in the form of a graph.
·
Collect data on the
number of students in each class and represent it in the form of an appropriate
graph.
·
Plot a graph to show the
hours you spend on various activities in a day.
·
Collect information on
the population of male and females in at least 10 states (collect information
from census websites), organise it in a spreadsheet and plot a bar diagram.
·
Collect information from
the website on a topic which is relevant to plot a pie chart, line chart,
column graph or scatter diagram. Organise the data in a spreadsheet and plot
the appropriate chart. Customise the chart. Submit original and customised
charts.
